Closing Ceremony Of YOG
Singapore Youth Olympic Games (YOG) came to an end on Thursday,26 August 2010. To conclude the YOG, the organisers decide to use fire work to end of this major sports day in Singapore. It is declared that NanJing, China, will be organising the second YOG. In this sports day, Singapore has managed to emerged 62 out of 204 countries.I feel that this is an amazing results for the hosting country as we are a small red dot in the world map. We achieved two silver and five bronze. the silver came from Rainer Ng and Isabelle Li while the four bronze came from our soccer team,Audrey,Daryl,Shafinas and Dayyan.

Recent yog happening
Darren Choy slipped from the first placing to the sixth placing yesterday making it hard for him to achieve the first gold for Singapore with two games remaining. I really felt sorry for Darren as he could win the gold medal with ease and bring glory to Singapore but something came out making him lose out and have such a great drop. I hope that he will pick up himself and continue to work hard so as to shine for Singapore.

YOG 2010
What is YOG?
It stands for "Youth Olympic Games". The first youth Olympic is held in Singapore and the Singaporeans are actively helping out in these fields. YOG is the biggest sports day that Singapore has ever held. In this YOG, many youngsters from all the countries come together to compete in this major sports day held in Singapore. In Montfort Secondary School, one of our students will be representing Singapore to take part in the wrestling competition in the YOG.
